Jingleberry Spritz

Recipe History:

Every party needs an alcohol-free option. Enjoy this unexpected and refreshing recipe. Plus, it's great to make with the little ones to get them into the holiday spirit.

Ingredients:

What you'll need:
  • Sauce pan
  • Glass container
  • Fine mesh sieve
  • Peeler
  • Highball glasses
  • 2” piece of fresh ginger, sliced, no need to peel
  • 1/2 c fresh rosemary, no need to remove the leaves from the stems
  • 1c granulated sugar
  • 1c water
  • Cranberry juice
  • Sparkling water, lemon flavored, Spindrift is our recommendation

Directions:

Bar Note: 

Make this at least 1hr before assembling the spritz.

  • In a small saucepan, heat water, sugar, and ginger.
  • Let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and add the rosemary.
  • Let the syrup steep for about 20 minutes.
  • Strain the syrup and transfer into an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
Spritz

In a pitcher add the following ingredients and give it a good stir:

  • 3-4oz rosemary and ginger simple syrup
  • 10oz cranberry juice
  • Fill highball glasses with ice and then half-way with the cranberry mixture and top with sparkling lemon water
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries on a rosemary skewer if you want to be extra festive
