Rosemary and Ginger Simple Syrup
Bar Note:
Make this at least 1hr before assembling the spritz.
- In a small saucepan, heat water, sugar, and ginger.
- Let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from the heat and add the rosemary.
- Let the syrup steep for about 20 minutes.
- Strain the syrup and transfer into an airtight container for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
Spritz
In a pitcher add the following ingredients and give it a good stir:
- 3-4oz rosemary and ginger simple syrup
- 10oz cranberry juice
- Fill highball glasses with ice and then half-way with the cranberry mixture and top with sparkling lemon water
- Garnish with fresh cranberries on a rosemary skewer if you want to be extra festive
