Bad Santa Bourbon Bomb

This cocktail will have everyone at your holiday gathering feeling merry and maybe just a little mischievous—cheers to the "Bad Santa" in all of us. HT Simply Recipes

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz dark rum (optional, for extra warmth)
  • 1 oz amaretto or hazelnut liqueur
  • 1 oz heavy cream (or eggnog for a festive twist)
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Dash of allspice (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional garnish)
  • Crushed candy canes, cinnamon sugar, or cocoa powder (optional for rim)

Directions:

  • In a shaker, combine bourbon, dark rum (if using), amaretto, heavy cream, simple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously until chilled and frothy.
  • Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice or serve it neat if preferred.
  • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.
  • For extra flair, garnish with a cinnamon stick, a small candy cane, or a sprig of rosemary.
Bar Note:
